Frequently asked questions

Quick answers for families.

Text 07521 700 701 before 8.30am where possible. Include the child’s full name, form group and details of the absence. Repeat this on each day of absence.
A live trust website would link to each school’s own website for uniform, lunch menus, transport, clubs, curriculum and named contacts.
Start by contacting the school’s SENDCo or pastoral team. Support is planned through a graduated approach with pupils, families and relevant professionals.
Contact the relevant school and ask for the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Where a child is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.
The demonstration use case drafts a possible response only. A trained member of staff should review, amend and approve it before sending, particularly where the enquiry is sensitive or relates to an individual child.
